Canada

Canada is the second-largest country in the world. Canada crosses six time zones and has the longest coastline of any country. Canada has the tallest peak in North America.The land area of Canada is 3,855,103 square miles compared to America’s 3,794,083. Even though Canada is a larger country, the United States has a population of 341,814,420 people compared to 39,742,430 people in Canada in 2024. The capital of Canada is Ottawa. Some landmarks in Canada are Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, Casa Loma, CN Tower, and many more. Some traditional foods commonly eaten in Canada are poutine, bannock, butter tarts, Nova Scotia lobster rolls, Montreal-style bagels, Saskatoon berry pie, Montreal-style smoked meat, peameal bacon, beavertails, split pea soup, and many other foods. Some popular sports in Canada are ice hockey, soccer, rugby, and cricket.
