What I do After School

After I finish my schoolwork, I eat lunch and then play Minecraft. Sometimes I jump on my trampoline or watch YouTube upstairs. Most of the time after my friends come back from school I go out and play with them. When I come back, I eat dinner with my family. I will play with my siblings when I play games together, video games, or watch YouTube with them.

My Dream Job

A job I have always wanted is to be a pizza chef and own my own pizza restaurant. I want to cook delicious pizza for everyone! I would have an indoor brick oven that cooks fast and evenly, and is not too expensive. My pizza style will be Neapolitan. Pizza is my favorite food and you can customize it in all sorts of ways. I would have meat, basil, tomato, mushrooms, and so many more combinations you can choose from! I would not do pineapple, because in my opinion, it does not belong on pizza. It is one of the most popular foods and I can make a lot of money from owning a pizza restaurant. I would have some other things such as pretzels, chicken with buffalo sauce, water, and juice. I would really like to own a pizza restaurant and be a pizza chef.

My Daily Routine (Weekdays)

First, I wake up at 6:00 A.M. and play Minecraft. At 7:30 I start to do the dishes to be helpful. After I am finished with the dishes, I go back to playing Minecraft. Then at 9:00 A.M, I do school and finish around at 12:00 P.M, I eat lunch then when I am finished I go upstairs and watch YouTube for a couple hours. Around 3:00 I come back down and have a snack. On Wednesday, I’ll go and play with my friends after my snack. On Fridays I have golf practice at 3:30, and will play with them after practice. Finally, I come home around 7:30 and eat dinner. I play upstairs for two hours with my siblings. We get ready for bed at around 9:00 then head into bed at 9:30. When I wake up the routine starts again. 

Laurens and The Spoiled Son

Laurens left because of guilt, and the spoiled son left because of selfishness. I don’t think Laurens was too happy being gone since he was probably filled with guilt the whole time. The spoiled son was happy being gone until he ran out of money and had to run back to his dad. Laurens returns home because he was found by his father from the initials on the watch. The spoiled son returns because he ran out of wealth and was in need of a job so he went to his father to ask to be his servant to earn money and get fed. Laurens was treated with forgiveness and was told the truth of what happened, while the spoiled son was treated with a celebration and feast for returning home safely.

Canada

Canada is the second-largest country in the world. Canada crosses six time zones and has the longest coastline of any country. Canada has the tallest peak in North America.The land area of Canada is 3,855,103 square miles compared to America’s 3,794,083. Even though Canada is a larger country, the United States has a population of 341,814,420 people compared to 39,742,430 people in Canada in 2024. The capital of Canada is Ottawa. Some landmarks in Canada are Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, Casa Loma, CN Tower, and many more. Some traditional foods commonly eaten in Canada are poutine, bannock, butter tarts, Nova Scotia lobster rolls, Montreal-style bagels, Saskatoon berry pie, Montreal-style smoked meat, peameal bacon, beavertails, split pea soup, and many other foods. Some popular sports in Canada are ice hockey, soccer, rugby, and cricket. 

My favorite season is summer. One reason I like it is because there is no school, which means I can play with my friends all day. Another reason it is my favorite is that we can go to the pool and have popsicles, ice cream, and frozen treats on hot days. The weather is usually sunny in the summer. On school days I wake up early, but in the summer I wake up even earlier! My final reason is because many fruits are in season such as melons, berries, peaches, and apricots. In the summer it is also my birthday and also my best friend, Ian’s birthday. We are two days apart.

My Life as an 11 Year Old 

My life as an 11 year old is basically doing my schoolwork, playing Minecraft, playing with friends, and helping out with my siblings. I am homeschooled. I finish school work around 11:30 in the morning. Most of the time, when I am not doing school work, I am playing video games. My favorite game to play is Minecraft. I also go outside and play with my friends. During the week, on Wednesdays and Fridays, I usually play with my friends in the neighborhood. On the weekends, I also get together with friends. That is basically my life as an 11 year old.

What I did This Summer

This summer I played with my friends and played golf. I played with my friends in the neighborhood almost every day. We mostly played at my friend, Luke’s house, friend Tristan’s house, and my best friend’s Ian’s house . When we are playing inside, we would play Minecraft. At Luke’s house, we would do activities in his basement. At Tristan’s house, we sometimes played in his backyard and swam in his pool. We also play in Ian’s backyard too. We played many different games such as tag, like “infection”, and sometimes hide and seek. My friends and I like to ride bikes in the neighborhood. We would ride them to the cul de sac and ride up the hill. It is fun going down but not so much going up. Everyday is a new adventure!

Book Report of The Railway
Children

When Father goes away with two strangers one evening, the lives of Roberta, Peter, and Phyllis are shattered. They and their mother have to move from their comfortable London home to go and live in a simple country cottage, where Mother writes books to make ends meat. However, they soon come to love the railway that runs near their cottage, and they make a habit of waving to the Old Gentleman who rides on it. They befriend the porter, named Perks, and through him learn railway lore and much else. They have many adventures, and when they save a train from disaster, they are helped by the Old Gentleman to solve the mystery of their father’s disappearance, it turns out their father has been accused of spying on the British government. So the railway children find out who really did it and their father was free to go, and their family is happily reunited.

I actually enjoyed the book. I usually enjoy Goosebumps books, but I liked this book. One reason is because it was a lot of adventure and I like action and adventure books. My next reason is because it was a mystery of finding who was the real culprit of who actually was spying on the British government and when I was in 3rd or 4th grade I liked mysteries. My final reason is because they had to save a train.

This is what I think will happen in The Railway Children. First, I think their father will come back. How? Maybe he will take the train and be with his family at the end. Second, I think the children will have more problems such as they might all get lost and can’t find their way back, the train might not work any more, or the train might leave with one or all of the children still on it and can’t get off. Finally, I don’t think they will cooperate. They might have different opinions or plans and they might just argue and want to do their own plans or ideas. That is what I think will happen in The Railway Children.
